How it works

This guide to E-commerce at Get Spice is divided into 2 sections 'At a glance' which provides an overview and 'In detail' which obviously provides more information.

At a glance

When you shop at Get Spice you follow this process:

In detail

1. Go to the Product Pages and select a category of goods from the menu (Spices, Organic Spices, Giftsets etc):

2. Decide on a item to buy and update the quantity if you want more than 1 of that item:

3. Click on the Cart to add the item to the Cart: as above.

4. When you have added all the items from the product category you have chosen you can choose to contiue adding items from other product categories or go to the Cart to view your order.

5. The cart can viewed at any time: Click on

6. You can change the contents of the Cart by:

a) Selecting another currency: select the new currency from the drop-down menu then click 'Change Currency'. We accept all EU currencies and the US dollar.

b) Changing the quantity of any item: enter the new amount and click on 'Update Cart'.

c) Removing items: either click on 'Remove' for a single product or 'Empty Cart' to clear the Cart.

d) Go to any Product Page and add more items.

7. When you are happy with the contents of the Cart click on 'Proceed'.

8. You are able to leave Get Spice at any time without purchase unless you specifically approve the buying of any item(s).

Security

E-commerce transactions on Get Spice are conducted via Protx our payment service provider. When you click on 'Submit Order' on the Buy page you are redirected to Protx's secure server. When you enter your details (Credit Card number, name etc) they are encrypted before transmission on the internet. Because of the encryption on your machine (the client) and the security provided by Protx's machine (the server) there is little chance that your details could be hacked and then misused. Get Spice for security reasons, never receives your credit card details. You can read about Protx's VSP Form service on their website (www.protx.com).
